Torrey Pines girls basketball takes DII crown

The Torrey Pines girls basketball team won the DII CIF championship on Feb. 24 with a 52-41 win over Oceanside. The title was a big victory for the girls basketball program, the first since 1995.
Sophomore point guard Lily Oliva had a game-high 16 points for the Falcons.
